Position Summary:

As a Project Manager II, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within scope. You will work closely with other project managers, team members, and stakeholders to facilitate communication, track progress, and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers with developing project plans, timelines, and schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and tasks, tracking progress and identifying potential issues or delays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and information sharing throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, capturing meeting minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Maintain project documentation, including project charters, scope statements, and risk registers.
  • Maintain project management tools and software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date project information.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
  • Prepare project status reports and presentations for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Coordinate and contribute to the creation of project deliverables, such as reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Perform quality assurance activities, ensuring project deliverables meet established standards.
  • Function as Lead Project Manager smaller organizational project

Working Relationships:

This position will work with all departments in the Store Support Center, Retail Operations, Vendors, and external Stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum Education: High School or GED

Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a project management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with team members and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Understands project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.

Licenses/Certifications: CAPM/PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
