Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Technician to join our Hardware Test Engineering team in North Reading, MA. The role involves enhancing our test execution capabilities for next-generation robotic systems, collaborating closely with hardware developers and program managers. This contract position requires a hands-on approach to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve our testing processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Test Engineers, Hardware and Software Developers on testing tools and techniques.
  • Maintain and ensure uptime for existing testing fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control systems issues.
  • Develop testing subsystems and accompanying documentation.
  • Perform tests, gather data, and comprehensively document test conditions and outcomes.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical schematics.
  • Skilled in electromechanical assembly and fixture bring-up.
  • Experience with board-level soldering and cable assembly.

Domain Experience:

  • Preferable exposure to arobotic system design or similar high-tech hardware environments.
