Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Full-time Campus Dietitian to work at Merrimack College, located north of Boston, Massachusetts. Merrimack College is a fast-growing private institution that was founded in 1947. Located in North Andover, Massachusetts, it has a total undergraduate enrollment of 4,015 and a 220-acre suburban campus with nearly 40 buildings. Our dining services deliver a comprehensive campus dining program that supports the health, wellness, and academic success of the Merrimack community. This Registered Dietitian will support our dining halls, retail operations and division I athletics by serving as the subject matter expert and thought leader.

What You'll Do
  • Act as the primary liaison between students, families, and dining/culinary teams for dietary accommodations
  • Partner with athletics to provide performance-based nutrition education and support
  • Support menu planning and retail offerings aligned with athletic performance and recovery needs
  • Collaborate with culinary teams on menu development, recipe analysis, and ingredient review
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations
  • Assist in evaluating and enhancing dining programs to improve student satisfaction and participation
  • Plan and execute nutrition tabling events, wellness campaigns, and campus outreach programs
  • Develop educational materials, signage, and digital content to promote healthy eating behavior
  • Be an expert in allergen control; train and support food service staff on allergen control in special dining areas;

What You Bring
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
  • Massachusetts state Licensure required (LDN)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Experience in foodservice, campus dining, or sports nutrition strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, student-focused environment

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics registered dietitian
