About the Role:

A mid-sized, confidential civil litigation firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 5&-7 years of litigation experience to join its team. This role is ideal for a strong legal professional looking to work in a collaborative, respectful environment with meaningful case responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a range of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Manage case files and meet litigation deadlines
  • Participate in depositions, hearings, and court appearances
  • Collaborate with partners and support staff on case strategy
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (required)
  • 5&-7 years of civil litigation experience
  • Strong academic background
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Admission to NH and/or RI bars is a plus
