Position/Department Summary:
Clean/disinfect toys per DEEC regulations. Set up afternoon activities/learning centers and engage in play. Prepare/serve snack. Restock classroom areas as requested. Participate in group/story/circle time. Assist classroom teacher with closing of the classroom each day.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting classroom teachers in the care, health, welfare and safety of children 12 weeks - 5 years of age in a group setting.
- Working with a team of teachers, to provide a caring environment where children are safe and secure.
- Cleaning/disinfecting toys per DEEC regulations.
- Setting up afternoon activities/learning centers and engage in play.
- Preparing/serving snack.
- Restocking classroom areas as requested.
- Participating in group/story/circle time.
- Assisting classroom teacher with closing of the classroom each day.
- At least 18 years of age.
- The ability to exchange information on factual matters, greet visitors, explain hospital policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel.
- Courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or hospital employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate.
- Part time -15/hours per week.
- Shift/hours: 2:30pm - 6:00pm.
- Employee Referral Bonus of $2,000.00
