Position Summary
The Revenue Cycle Informaticist supports healthcare operations through Epic reporting, analytics, and workflow optimization initiatives to improve operational and financial performance. This role partners with operational leaders, Revenue Cycle Operations, Managed Care, IT, and Business Intelligence teams to develop dashboards, productivity scorecards, KPI reporting, and automation solutions that enhance decision-making, streamline administrative work, and support revenue cycle optimization across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with operational leaders to develop and maintain Epic reports, dashboards, productivity scorecards, and KPI tracking tools
  • Support leaders and staff through training, office hours, and self-service reporting education
  • Collaborate with IT and Business Intelligence teams to identify and implement workflow and reporting solutions
  • Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Support optimization initiatives related to revenue cycle workflows, automation, and administrative efficiencies
  • Monitor and report on key revenue cycle performance metrics and operational outcomes
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on reporting trends and workflow inconsistencies
  • Generate reports and analysis to support operational and financial initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations, Managed Care, and Information Technology teams
  • Stay current on healthcare revenue cycle trends, Epic functionality, and analytics best practices
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations and Epic systems required
  • Experience with Epic reporting tools, including SlicerDicer, dashboards, and productivity scorecards preferred
  • Epic certification in Revenue Cycle or Data Analytics preferred
  • Experience supporting revenue cycle optimization, workflow improvement, and analytics initiatives preferred
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills required
Schedule:
Full-time- 100% remote
