What You Will Do as an Assistant Child Care Coordinator
  • The Assistant Child Care Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Child Services Coordinator with the design, implementation, and administration of a comprehensive therapeutic program for children of program participants.

  • Help to assess child and family needs and plan appropriate therapeutic interventions, including family, individual and group counseling, play therapy and educational seminars.

  • Along with the Program Director and/or the Clinical Supervisor, monitor the program's progress, instituting new programs and interventions as appropriate.
  • Assist in maintaining the weekly childcare schedule.
  • Maintain electronic charts and various childcare reports.
  • Assist in the coordination of services and acts as liaison with other providers such as daycare centers, schools and summer camps.
What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of child development.
  • Able to build rapport with substance use population and families.
  • Compassion, understanding and empathy for those working on their recovery from addiction.
  • Proficient with MS Office, internet and email systems.
  • Ability to engage with children and families.

The shift for this position is Sunday - Thursday, 10am-6pm

Pay: $25.00 per hour
