Position Summary/ Department Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant to join the team within our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

We are seeking a full-time Clinical Assistant to join the team within our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Key Responsibilities:
- Following established procedures and instructions, providing basic direct care to patients as delegated by a Registered Nurse.
- Assisting patients with feeding and hygiene, obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature, pulse and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of unit as needed.
- Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed.
- Assisting with stocking and sanitizing with the perioperative area, and setting up bed spaces for patients.
- Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse.
- Working rotating day shifts with start times between 6am-12pm. Weekends/off shift/holidays optional
Education:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year Clinical Assistant experience or Nursing Student with at least one clinical rotation preferred.
- Experience working on a team preferred.
- CNA certification or equivalent preferred
