Phillips House 22 is a nineteen-bed unit of single-occupancy rooms designed to promote healing and family-centered care. The unit is dedicated to the care of men and women from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds with complex needs and problems. The specialty populations cared for on the unit include benign and malignant gynecology, general surgery, and post-partum. Patients admitted to this unit require complex oncology care which may include chemotherapy regimens, chemotherapy desensitization, biotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation therapy, proton therapy and palliative care. The scope of care includes acute medical and surgical diagnoses as well as chronic illnesses associated with acute episodes. Care is given over the illness continuum from diagnosis to control, remission or advanced disease.

Job Summary
