Job Summary:

At Nova Biomedical, we are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Mold Operator. As part of our team, you will be contributing to our mission of driving innovation and advancing patient care in the life sciences industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inspecting part quality before packaging.
  • Responsible for any necessary secondary operation, typically using clippers to snip runner systems from the part.
  • Responsible for taking dimensional measurements using calipers, pin gauges, rulers, and other handheld metrology equipment and documenting the measurement per procedure.
  • Responsible for adhering to safety rules and keeping the work area safe and clean.
  • Other variety of tasks may be requested of the Mold Operator as part of our daily operation of the molding department.

Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to read and write in English with legible penmanship
  • Perform basic math
  • There may be instances during the day that require sitting and/or standing for long periods of time

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to [2550] pounds as required.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop, or climb as needed.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., noise, temperature, equipment).
  • Ability to operate tools, machinery, or technical equipment.
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required.

Work Location: On-site at our Billerica Lexington Rd, MA facility 5 days/week (Monday-Friday)

Targeted Salary Range: $22 - $23/hr

Working Hours: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
